Dr. Waddill-Goad holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) with a specialty in executive leadership from American Sentinel University, a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialty in managerial leadership from City University of Seattle, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Colorado. She continues to maintain a clinical certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN).
In early 2009, Dr. Waddill-Goad also completed an Executive Education Certificate from The Ohio State University’s Fisher School of Business in Lean Six Sigma as a Black Belt. Prior to exclusively founding a consulting practice in 2003, Dr. Waddill-Goad held the positions of Chief Nursing Officer/Assistant Administrator, Operations Improvement Coordinator, Supervisor, Nurse Educator, and Charge Nurse. As a clinical staff nurse, she chose to work both as an employee and a temporary nurse in hospital and outpatient settings (generally, in critical care) with work assignments of varying lengths.
Dr. Waddill-Goad has been a recognized regional clinical educator and has also worked in pre-hospital Quality Improvement. She has demonstrated success in developing new programs and leading teams with innovative ideas to their intended targets both as an employee and a consultant. Dr. Waddill-Goad has been an active participant on several Boards in the community and state where she resides, as well as, being a member of various professional organizations.
